These terms are the agreement between you and REMedy. Using the site means you accept them. They are short on purpose.

Who you are agreeing with

REMedy is operated by an individual based in North Carolina, United States, reachable at remedysleepproject@gmail.com. It is an early pilot, not an established company.

What REMedy is, and what it is not

REMedy is a personal wellness tool for keeping a sleep diary and organizing what you notice so you can bring it to a clinician. That is its whole purpose.

REMedy is not a medical device, a diagnostic tool, or a healthcare provider, and it makes no diagnostic or therapeutic claims. Nothing it shows you—a score, a chart, a pattern, a correlation, a printed report—is medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment recommendation, and none of it should be used to start, stop, or change any medication or treatment. Its questionnaire is written by this project; it is not a clinically validated screening instrument and no number it produces carries clinical authority. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider about any health concern. If you are having a medical emergency, call 911. If you are in crisis, call or text 988.

Links to clinicians, sleep centers, directories, and outside organizations are informational only. They are not a referral, a recommendation, or an endorsement, we are not paid for them, and we do not verify the credentials, availability, or quality of anyone listed. Choosing a provider is your decision.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or older. Use your own account, keep your Google sign-in secure, and do not share access with anyone whose data is not yours.

Your data is yours

Everything you enter belongs to you. We store it only to show it back to you and to build the charts and reports you asked for. We claim no ownership over it and no right to use it for anything else. You can delete all of it at any time from Settings. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what deletion does.

REMedy is not a medical record. It is not a system of record and should not be your only copy of anything that matters to you. Print or save your report if you need to keep it.

Fair use of the service

Do not attempt to break into, overload, scrape, or interfere with the site or with other people's accounts, and do not use REMedy for anything unlawful. We may suspend or remove an account that does.

Availability, and the service being provided as-is

REMedy is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. This is a small pilot project: it may be unavailable, it may change, and it may be discontinued. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the information it shows you is complete or accurate.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, REMedy and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of your use of the service. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, in which case they apply to you only as far as the law allows. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Ending it

You can stop using REMedy at any time and delete your account and all of its data from Settings. We may end or suspend access if these terms are broken, or if the project stops operating. In that case we will give account holders notice by email, with enough time to print or save your data first.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and we will email account holders about any change that materially affects your rights.
